All Digital TV
Arvig began a multi-year project in June 2009, which will lead Arvig digital TV into a high-quality, all-digital format. This will give the company the ability to offer more channels and advanced services in the future.
As a result, the current analog television signal provided to TV customers, who subscribe to One, Two, Three and Four Star digital TV plans, will be converted to a high-quality, all-digital signal at no additional charge. Arvig customers on Entertainment Plans will not be affected by this project.
Customers with newer, digital televisions may need to reprogram their televisions to receive the all-digital signal. If your TV doesn’t have a digital QAM tuner, Arvig will have converter boxes available for lease.
Three and Four Star customer TVs currently connected to an Arvig digital set-top box, are already receiving Arvig digital TV service.
It is important to note that this project is not related to the government’s DTV transition, which concluded on June 12, 2009.
Arvig would like to thank its customers in advance for their cooperation in completing this project and looks forward to providing them with additional services in the future.
