Caller Transfer
Caller Transfer allows your callers the option of pressing 0 to transfer to a real person, rather than leaving a message. For example, the mailbox greeting may say "Hi, this is Susan. I’m away from my desk so please leave a message. If it’s urgent, please press 0 to transfer to the reception desk."
To enable Caller Transfer (from your telephone):
Press 4, to enter the Mailbox Settings Menu.
Press #, until you hear the title "Caller Transfer".
Press 0, to choose "Caller Transfer". (You will hear your current caller transfer number, if one is set up.)
Press 1, to set-up "Caller Transfer" or to change your current "Caller Transfer" number. Then enter then area code and phone number for your "Caller Transfer".
Press #, when complete.
Press # again to confirm the phone number you have entered is correct.
Press 2, to turn "Caller Transfer" off, your callers will no longer be able to choose to be transferred.

To enable Caller Transfer (from your computer):
Log-in to your VoiceMail online at www.arvig.com, or click here.
Select "Settings" from the left hand side of the screen
Under Telephone Access Settings heading select, "Greetings/Voicemail Settings" and then select "Configure: Personal Greetings/VoiceMail".
At the bottom of the Mailbox Greetings & Voicemail Settings screen it says "Phone Number for Caller Transfer". Enter the phone number that you want your calls transferred to in the box provided and select "Save".
Your call will be transferred to this number when they press "0".
